The research for this project was vital to the success of the brand because of its engagement with the Tribes themselves. Historical accuracy reflects respects and honor. I combined two different research strategies: Understanding the history and significance of the involved tribes and their art and artifacts is first and most important, and second is researching how other brands have accomplished this task in other historically rich states like arizona.
Below include Supporting visual assets and sponsor logos. These designs can be used for things like merch or specialized deliverables:
After Kota agreed with my designs, they invited me to create the visuals of the 2024 music festival Sales and marketing booth. This booth is the first thing that is presented to the guests on the festival grounds and is where they sell there merch, headliner's merch and music, and provides info and wristbands.
T-shirt designs were big money makers for the festival because of there marketing for the next year. This is a new festival so they wanted one shirt that was simply branded as a Kota shirt, and the second is date specific with the lineup on the back, similar to a tour shirt.
Kota is unique in the fact that they sell multiple items at their both from t-shirts to vinyl records, and bandanas. Most festivals don't sell fragile things like records because of the long hauls throughout the day and high energy environment. We thought providing tote bags that will perfectly secure those products would promote sales.
